Cornchip Feets - (noun)

Corgi feet smell like corn chips.  Go ahead, take a moment and go huff some corgi paw.  Mmmm, thats the stuff.  Most say it smells like corn chips, some say doritos, some say popcorn.  Corgis smell like snack food.

Why is this???  Is it naturelle l’odeur de corgi?  Is this some cruel joke?  ”OH, let’s take dog, give him stubbies, a nubbin, a ridiculous smile, derp factor of 11 to the power of potato…annnnnd make das feet smell like corn chips!”

The answer is actually fairly simple!  Dogs sweat through their feet, just like us!  The sweat gets trapped in the fur and in between tootsies, and starts to stank.  Think about it…if you didn’t shower for a couple weeks, how would your feet smell?  Not corgitastic I imagine.  

Also, many cheaper dog foods use corn as the main ingredient…ahhhh…the smell source!  If having your own corgi sized corn chip flavored air freshener running around is too much, try a different food.  You can also try trimming the fur between toes.

Then again, maybe your corgi just works the night shift at the Fritos factory.
